22 December, 2021Merry Christmas to us! Seedstockers has been awarded with two cups in one weekend! By no other than the HomeGrown Cup in The Netherlands and The Copa del Sol fair in Colombia, 9000km apart from each other. Seedstockers around the world!
The HomeGrown Cup
This cannabis cup was hosted in Tilburg, The Netherlands. It has been running since 2015, celebrating the annual end of the season harvest. This was the 8th edition because the one in 2019 was celebrated twice. And we rocked it!
There were eight categories of cannabis, hash and extracts: Sativa indoor and outdoor, Indica indoor and outdoor, drysift, ice-o-lator, BHO and rosin.
Seedstockers won the first prize in the sativa outdoor category, with Thunder Banana.
Copa del Sol
This was the second edition of this cannabis fair, celebrated in Cartago, Colombia. This unique location surrounded by mountains and jungle hosted a weekend long of workshops, live music and a beautiful bunch of cannabis lovers. The weather was amazing, the swimming pool was ready and the hammocks kept hanging!
Our winner was Santa Marta Haze Auto, chosen as the best Sativa indoor genetics. This comes as no surprise, as these genetics had already been awarded early this year at the Highlife Awards by Soft Secrets. Moreover, this is a half-Colombian variety!
The genetics of the Santa Marta Haze Auto come from Amnesia Haze x Santa Marta, which is a Colombian jungle Haze. It has a shiny appearance with sparkling resinous buds, and a spicy and fruity aroma and taste. It has THC levels of 20% and it gives a long lasting powerful high. These features make it a total winner, loved by many growers who keep repeating the experience of growing top quality buds.
