AK420 Autoflower: Feminized cannabis seeds which are easy to grow with high THC levels
AK420 Autoflower seeds tend to produce a bushy plant with numerous side blooms surrounding the main central cola.
The main central bloom tends to be slightly taller than the side blooms and in high light levels it can be generously proportioned and may need supporting at harvest. In this weeks grow, Bunny used an organic compost mixture with a 15 litre smart pot made of fabric. Bunny used ‘BioTabs’ which are an organic slow release feed block which is placed in etc centre of the growing container.
As the plant grows, the BioTab (which looks like a large biscuit) gradually breaks down releasing a rich mixture of organic fertilisers and root nutrients which are easily absorbed by the cannabis plant.
BioTabs are especially popular with organic growers that want a simple slow release nutrient system that delivers a steady stream of minerals for the plant to use. They never cause nutrient burn and produce good results.
Bunny used BioBizz Lightmix, this is a pre-mixed soil that has a light texture and a light mineral content. Often these ‘Light Mix’ soil preparations will need additional supplemental feeds later on, especially during bloom when the cannabis plants have their highest demand for nutrition.

How to grow AK420 Autoflower seeds
The AK420 Autoflower grew well. During the first 20 days plant development can seem slow, as the seedling establishes a root system and puts out her first few sets of leaves.
Growth accelerates from days 20-40 as the sativa dominant autoflower genetics undergo a pre-flower stretch. During this time the AK420 Autoflower can grow 2-3cm each day and sometimes more. As well as growing vertically the side branches will also grow rapidly, the genetics originally came from the famous AK47 variety. The Seedstockers AK420 Autoflower genetics were selected from a special mother plant grown from seed and then converted to an autoflowering format. These genetics are quite capable of filling all the available tent space if allowed unrestricted growth.
From day 50-75 the AK 420 Autoflower produces blooms which quickly increase in length and weight. Resin formation is generous and makes this a really potent smoke. This variety grows best under 20 hours of daily light followed by 4 hours of darkness and usually takes around 75 days from seed to harvest. She tends to feed heavily during days 40-70 and final yields can be very heavy when grow conditions and nutrients regime have been optimised.
AK420 Autoflower seeds grow well in any indoor grow medium or grow system. Outdoors she takes around 95 days from seed to harvest, the slightly slower growth is due to cooler night temperatures and reduced light hours.
