In this weeks grow review GG65 grew BCN Power Plant under a 600W HPS growlight, the autoflower seeds were grown in a 50/50 soil/perlite mixture.

DESCRIPTION:
Seedstockers BCN Power Plant Auto is another XXL sized auto with great sativa-dominant harvests of high THC buds. This auto grows well with 20 or 24 hours of daily light and takes around 11 weeks from seed to harvest indoors. Like all Seed Stocker autos, these genetics also grow well outdoors and produce heavy harvests. Indoors she is easy to grow in any grow medium/system. Its a remarkably strong smoke with a long lasting high and THC levels around 22-23%. A great all-round auto that is strong, easy to grow and with a sweet tasting smoke and great aroma. Recommended.

The grow room has two 4 inch (100cm) air intakes. There was an oscillating fan inside the grow room to circulate the air, and a 6-inch (150mm) air extraction unit with a carbon filter which takes air via the HPS cool tube.
The BCN Power Plant Autoflower seeds were grown under a 19/5 light system, that means 19 hours of daily light followed by 5 hours of darkness. Indoor cannabis growers often use a 20/4 light schedule for autoflowering seeds. Some growers even use a 24/0 light schedule, but Seedstockers feminized auto seeds are flexible and tough, they will grow well under any light schedule they are given indoors or outdoors.
BCN Power Plant Autoflower is a sativa dominant feminized autoflower variety with a strong THC rich smoke, and its one of the easiest Seedstockers varieties to grow indoors or outdoors.

The genetics originally came from South Africa where they had a reputation for fast growing weed and heavy yielding plants with a strong sativa high. Many growers find this variety useful for creative or artistic hobbies, it’s a relaxing high with a long lasting and intense psychoactive effect.

The BCN Power Plant autoflower seeds spend the first 3 weeks or so growing vegatively. Normally they show female pre flowers around day 25.
During the first 3 weeks the seeds grow into short and leafy seedlings, even under 24 hour light growth can seem relatively slow. From days 25-50 the BCN Power Plant Autoflower will start stretching, sometimes by 2-3cm per day. Normally you will see a dominant central bloom which grows slightly taller than the rest. The side blooms tend to be slightly shorter than the main central bloom but they will still produce plenty of buds.
As the auto ages the side blooms get gradually larger, and the overall plant appearance is improved by a generous layer of resin. The buds are sticky to the touch and from days 50-75 you can expect to see the blooms swell on this variety. She grows well in a SCROG environment, or in a natural growth setting.
BCN Power Plant Autoflower also grows well in soil, coco fibre or in a hydroponics system, these are tough and flexible Power Plant genetics which have been used for many years by cannabis growers.

Heavy yields as standard
This grow review shows how a typical 600W HPS with soil delivers a heavy harvest from a compact plant which is usually around a metre tall at the end of bloom. You can expect 10-15 blooms, the more light you can provide the more blooms and the heavier the final harvest.
This variety is usually ready to harvest around 75 days after germinating the auto seeds. Occasionally you will find a heavy yielding phenotype which needs a week or two longer but these plants are well worth waiting for. Under ideal conditions, with powerful indoor lights and a hydroponic system you can expect several hundred grams from each plant.
