2 February, 2018Big Bud Autoflower Feminized Seeds is a variety with genetics from a specially selected autoflowering Big Bud and one of Seedstockers heaviest yielding autoflowering cannabis seed varieties.
Harvests are much heavier than average – as you would expect from Big Bud auto and seeds grow from seed to harvest in around 75 days.
Big Bud Autoflower has high THC levels of 20%++ and she has been bred to be easy to grow in any grow medium or grow system.
She also grows well outdoors, taking around 95 days from seed to harvest.

Big Bud auto is another XXL auto from the Seedstockers collection. The Big Bud genetics produce plants with huge growth potential, especially in optimum conditions. THC levels are high, 22% or more, but the XXL harvests are one of the key attractions of this variety. She grows well indoors in any grow system but reaches her highest yields in hydroponic systems and can easily produce several hundred grams of dry bud from a single plant. This is another great choice for outdoor auto growers. Indoor growers will love the great smoke quality and heavy harvests.

Big Bud Autoflower Feminized Seeds Growing Review
This weeks grow review comes from iGrow, who grew his Big Bud Autoflower Feminized Seeds in a 160x116cm room.
Nutrients were a combination of Gold Label, Shogun and Advanced Nutrients.
The lights were Grownorthern Telos 0008 LED grow lights with an environment of 26-28ºC and 45%RH with the lights on 20/4 (20 hours of light, 4 hours of darkness). The original grow diary is here on the Autoflower Network.
The plants were grown in 15 litre airpots of Playroom Light soil with added perlite.

For the first couple of weeks the Big Bud Autoflower appears to grow slowly as she builds a strong root network to support the later rapid growth.
During the 3rd and 4th week, Big Bug Autoflower starts to stretch and increase in vertical hight.
The pre-flower stretch can allow the plant to reach an average hight of around 75 – 100cm, though occasionally the genetics will produce plants that are above one metre tall.
Big Bud Autoflower is a reliable indoor auto, the genetics have been proven over several decades.
As the plants approach week 5-6 the baby blooms can be seen developing on the main cola, at this point the Big Bud Autoflower often starts to produce staggered, alternating nodes. This means that the branches do not grow symmetrically on either side of the stem.
Instead the branches grew in a stepped fashion, often an indicator that the pre-flower stretch is complete and that the plant is ready to enter the final bloom phase where the buds increase in weight and volume.

Vertical stretch on Big Bud Autoflower came to a stop around day 50 when the hight was around 90cm. Side growth was vigorous, with multiple side blooms.
One of the features of Big Bud Autoflower is the heavy yielding nature of the genetics, and a key part of this is the vigorous growth of side blooms.
In this weeks grow review, the side blooms reached up to within 10 cm of the hight of the main central bloom. With 10-15 heavy yielding and fast growing weed side blooms, the yield on Big Bud can easily be several hundred grams.
Growers with high light levels will get particularly heavy yields.

Trichome formation on Big Bud is also impressive and this is one of the auto’s preferred by people that like to convert their harvests into cannabis concentrates such as cannabis oil, shatter, BHO, hashish and other concentrates.
By day 57 the Big Bud Autoflower was drinking about 1L a day of feed. At this stage the feed included 2ml/litre of Gold Label Soil A&B, 1ml/litre of Shogun Calmag,Sumo Boost and Carboload from Advanced Nutrients.

The Big Bud Autoflower was harvested around day 85, approximate 10 days longer than usual, but the harvest was worth the short additional wait, with 7.5 ounces or just over 200 grams of dried buds coming from the plant.
