DESCRIPTION:
Big Bud auto is another XXL auto from the Seedstockers collection. The Big Bud genetics produce plants with huge growth potential, especially in optimum conditions. THC levels are high, 22% or more, but the XXL harvests are one of the key attractions of this variety. She grows well indoors in any grow system but reaches her highest yields in hydroponic systems and can easily produce several hundred grams of dry bud from a single plant. This is another great choice for outdoor auto growers. Indoor growers will love the great smoke quality and heavy harvests.

Big Bud Autoflower Grow Review
The plant was grown in a closet with fresh air being sucked from the loft. Lighting came from a 600W air-cooled HPS light.
The plant was grown in soil with added perlite, the grow was completed for minimal cost with a no-frills approach with the following equipment:
- 600 watt HPS
- 2 x 4 inch intake fans
- 1x 6 inch carbon filter running thru a cooltube vented to the loft
- 1 oscillating fan
- 50/50 soil and perlite
- 19/5 light schedule

As the pictures show, Big Bud Autoflower produces numerous blooms which grow into XXL size. With a powerful 600W light, as was used here, these time-honored genetics simply continue to swell. This variety does well under 20 hours of indoor light from seed to harvest.
The Big Bud genetics are ideally suited to the autoflower format where they can reach impressive proportions in average home grown conditions. Quality levels are good too, expect THC levels of over 20%. This is a simple variety to grow, she is recommended to first time growers as well as experienced cultivators who know how to maximise bud production.

The most surprising feature of this home grow is the quantity of buds produced from a single Big Bud Autoflower seed. Imagine how much you would harvest from 5 or 6 of these in a large tent. Each bloom is long and fat, it’s the perfect combination, and the perfect variety for growers with intense light levels such as 600W HPS lights or LED grow lights.
Big Bud is a productive autoflower without getting too tall – something which can cause problems for indoor growers. Many indoor auto growers prefer medium hight XL yielding plants which are easier to control. Medium size autos with lots of heavy blooms are often regarded as the most convenient way to fill an indoor grow tent, and Big Bud Autoflower does exactly that. A single plant can easily be a metre tall and just as wide with 20-30 heavy blooms.
Low stress training (‘LST’) can be very effective with Big Bud Autoflower, tying down branches can allow extra light penetration and heavier yields as a result. Big Bud Autoflower is tough enough to handle heavy LST, experienced growers can increase their yields significantly with LST.

Many repeat Seedstockers growers routinely harvest several hundred grams from each Big Bud autoflower. The genetics are proven prize winners which have been used by breeders for the last decade or two.
The scent is skunky with hints of melon and lemon in the cured buds and a very thick velvety coating of THC rich trichomes coats the buds. It’s equally popular with medical and recreational growers.
