Growing Runtz seeds USA indoors

If you enjoy growing relatively compact Indica dominant strains then you will love Runtz. Indoors she generally reaches around 1 metre in height. She’s an easy, robust Indica dominant variety to grow. Because she stretches a little less than other varieties you may feel comfortable giving the plants a week or two longer in veg growth. Once in bloom she does stretch, but not excessively. She takes around 8 weeks in bloom.

Many Runtz USA growers love to give Runtz an extra 7-10 days of bloom for a full-on extra heavy and stony effect. Whilst this takes bloom into the 9th week, many feel Runtz is at her best with a few extra amber/red trichomes.

These high quality genetics are capable of being pushed right to their potency limits by skilled growers. If you have a quality LED grow light you stand the best chance of really pushing THC up to the limit. With high levels of heat, a HPS produces heat stress which limits potency. LED runs at a cooler temperature with a superior light spectrum and produces the best results.

Runtz Feminized seeds also love being grown in airpots or felt sacks. In hydroponics you will get the best yields of all.

With indica dominant genetics, Runtz isn’t perhaps the best suited to SCROG grows, but she does suit the grower with less vertical space, needing a highly potent and compact strain with rock hard nuggets. Cooler grow room temperatures towards the end of bloom can produce some beautiful blue hues in the buds.
